About us

Our family has, as one of the first, build their house in this bay in 1965, and had thus contributed to its development. We renting our apartments since 1975, of course, many things have changed and the house was modernized several times.

Our housekeeper takes care cleaning of the apartments and is your local contact when we are not there. We, that are Miranda Frommen and Zeljko Zelic, are siblings and run these apartments together with their families.

We speak Croatian, German and English. If that's not enough, hands and feets and sometimes Google help us to communicate with our guests. So far, this has always worked.

Information

Arriving by plane

to Split airport, then proceed by bus or taxi.

From Split Airport you can use a bus, which is available after every landing and can trasferring you to the ferry terminal. The bus runs every 20 minutes from the airport to Split, the journey to Split takes approx. 30 minutes.

From the bus station Split (at the ferrry terminal) there are possibilities to continue to Brela. The ride Split - Brela takes about 1.5 hours.

Alternatively, you can take a taxi at the airport (we can arrange a taxi company for you from Brela) or hire a car. In the case of a rental car we recommend an early online rental, e.g. via https://www.billiger-mietwagen.de or similar portals.


Arriving by car

Highway Zagreb-Šestanovac or Rijeka-Šestanovac. From Šestanovac it is about 10 km to Brela. You can also take the Zagvozed exit and then drive across the tunnel to Baska Voda. The route is a bit longer, but not so winding.

Rules

We would like to familiarize you with the house rules so that your stay in our house is as pleasant as possible for you and other guests. For all further information, please contact the landlord.

  1. Please hand over your identity card or passport to the landlord after arrival, so that he can register you at the tourist office.
  2. The owner does not assume liability for stolen goods and valuables.
  3. The guest pays attention to his behavior in the house and the environment, in particular, the stairs and the apartments must not be entered wet. In case of an accident, the owner is not liable.
  4. In the absence of the guest, the owner is allowed to entered the flat to prevent the occurrence of possible damage or danger. The owner will informe the guest at the next contact.
  5. The owner or the person responsible for cleaning of the rooms / apartments has the right to enter the apartment according to the cleaning schedule. You can ask the landlord about the type and frequency of cleaning.
  6. It is forbidden to destroy equipment and furniture, cause chaos and disturb other guests. In addition, it is not allowed to bring flammable or explosive material.
  7. Please close the sun awning when you leave the room or in the night. The weather can change suddenly and damage the sun awning. Please take also the cushions into the apartments, in case of raining or if it is expected.
  8. Please switch off the air condition if you leave the apartment or if the windows stay open.
  9. Contents of the room / apartment may only be used by persons who are properly registered as guests. The landlord may, at the guest's request, authorize visits at a specific time.
  10. The bringing of animals is allowed only with the consent of the landlord.
  11. Should it come to the trouble with the furniture and equipment of the rooms/apartments, the guest is in charge to inform the landlord about it. If the guest's has damage something, he is liable to pay the damage with a corresponding countervalue.
  12. It is forbidden to remove furniture and equipment (towels, blankets, etc.) from the room / apartment.
  13. Please respect the rest period between 23:00 and 07:00 o'clock.

If the guest does not comply with the house rules, the landlord has the right to terminate further services to the guest without pre-notice.
